happy life

Happiness has different meanings for all of us. We all have experienced it and there are lots of people on earth who crave to be happy again. Why does this happen?

In the hustle and bustle of life, often we forget to live for ourselves. A child seems to be happier than an adult. This is because it has not tons of things to do, he just focuses on what seems interesting to him and enjoys all of it.

Every one of us wants to lead a happy life, but the question is how many of us want to work for it? First, we need to define the parameters of our happiness! Pause the life activities and take out 5 minutes for yourself. Believe me, you deserve this!

Here in this article, we are providing you a complete guide to living a happy life. happy life

If a bald compares himself with the one having silky hair, he will definitely be disappointed, but when he looks at the one who has a mental disability, he will be thankful. The same is the case with human masses, a common man is been disheartened because he doesn’t owe a lifestyle as of that celebrity but what if he looks at the life in the countries where a child is even roaming in streets for food!

According to Michael Plant:

‘If you look at what people actually do to be happier, it seems nearly everyone tries to change the external facts: we try to become richer, thinner, more successful, to find a better house in a nicer area, and so on. A few of us think about trying to spend less time working, and more time on hobbies or with friends and family.

What if we spend our lives enjoying the present? What if we just don’t compare ourselves? The happiness ratio will definitely increase if we learn to be grateful for what we got and Of Course working to make it better too!

Happiness has nothing to do with perfection. No one has a perfect life, we are never perfect but that doesn’t mean people aren’t happy.

Do you think a perfect life can give you loads of happiness? Have a look at this:

“Being happy doesn’t mean that everything is perfect. It means you’ve decided to look beyond the imperfections.” (Anonymous)

Having a positive outlook towards things can give you an edge.

AN iPhone app was developed to basically evaluate the reasons for unhappiness, the app pings at different times of day to ask them how are they feeling? Are they happy? Are they focused on their work? How often their minds wander?

The study concluded that the principal cause of unhappiness among them is how seldom their minds wander! The root cause of distractions is STRESS. Stress doesn’t let you focus on one thing, for the reductions of stress one must consider practicing mindfulness. Meditation and Yoga also help focus on one thing and then jump to another.

When you direct your attention, you’re in the moment

You might have heard the very famous quotation ‘LIFE IS 20% WHAT HAPPENS TO US AND 80% HOW WE respond’

YEAH, that’s very true. It’s all a matter of our choices, how we choose to react? How we choose habits?

According to Kurt Carlson, Ph.D. “the one universal truth that, to me, seems most provocative, useful, and unconditional is this: The only way to realize positive change in your life is by making choices.

We shouldn’t ignore small things rather embrace them.

All of us do make some mistakes, they are the symbolization that we are living. It is observed that one of the habits that lead to unhappiness is our behavior towards our inner self.

We don’t owe importance but believe me our inner self matters the most. Practice being gentle with yourself“If you had a friend who spoke to you in the same way that you sometimes speak to yourself, how long would you allow that person to be your friend? The way you treat yourself sets the standard for others,” Marc and Angel explain

Prioritizing yourself over another thing is not been selfish that indicates you care for yourself, Marc and Angel advise “If you don’t value yourself, look out for yourself, and stick up for yourself, you’re sabotaging yourself. Remember, it IS possible to take care of your own needs while simultaneously caring for those around you,”

To conclude the discussion, ill share this amazing quote that I personally implemented in my life. I invite you to apply it in our lives and share my results;

Say to yourself…… You have everything you need right now to take the next small, realistic step forward. So, embrace the opportunities that come your way, and accept the challenges.”
